Half-Day Pass Contract

Please read the following Consent and Contract then complete the form below.

Session Description:

Professional and amateur photographers welcome. Participants may enter selected enclosures only. Photographers may be onsite during the hours of their scheduled appointment only.

Session Fees (based on one photographer):

•  Photography Half-Day Pass for one selected half day for non-members: $100

• Photography Half-Day Pass for one selected half day for a member: $75

General Conditions for Photographing Birds at Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy: 

Photographers must meet with a member of the Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy aviculture staff prior to entering any aviaries. 

• Feeding, touching, or harassment of any birds is strictly prohibited.

• Photography of adjoining estate property (including buildings and gardens) is strictly prohibited. 

• The sale of packaged media under the Ripley name and logo is prohibited.

• Acknowledgment of Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy in the credits of the publication, with prior approval, is required.

• Copies of digital files containing photographs and videos taken at Ripley must be provided for use in Ripley publications (with proper credit to photographer).

Cancellations:

Photographers must notify RWC if they will not be able to attend their selected day.

• Refunds may be requested in cases of inclement weather which results in school closures.

• Make ups may be rescheduled if approved by Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy’s staff if the appointment is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances, in the case that a refund has not been given. 

• Must give cancellation notice 24 hours in advance. 

General Consent and Liability:

I grant permission to Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy for the use of the photograph(s) &/or video or electronic media images taken for the use of publications, news releases, online, and in any other form of communications related to the mission of Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy.

The Conservancy does not guarantee the results of the photography session. Working with live birds and unpredictable weather conditions can pose a risk for less-than-ideal photos/videos.

I agree to the conditions outlined above and hereby acknowledge that Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy and its staff shall not be held liable for any injuries I may sustain nor any damage to property or equipment I may incur during my time at Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy.

Refusal to abide by the general conditions stated in this contract will result in the forfeiture of all images captured at Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy and future opportunities to photograph at the Conservancy.
