Field Trips 

The Conservancy offers fun and educational field trips for schools, wildlife clubs, and outing groups.

Ruddy duck (Oxyura jamaicensis)

Led by one of our experienced staff, your group will be introduced to many of the most colorful and interesting birds in the world while learning how the Conservancy is working to conserve waterfowl and wetland habitats through research, education and conservation action.

Field trips are customized to the needs and interests of each individual group. Special opportunities vary by season but include wetland exploration programs, wild duck banding, and egg candling.

Please call the office Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (860-567-2062) for information on fees and scheduling.

Cancellations are requested by 5:00 pm the day prior to a scheduled visit.
